Flip-it! Instructions
Putting It On:
Attaching the Reflector Panel
The back of every Big and Mega-size reflector panel has a piece of Velcro loop, which matches the Velcro hook on the attachment base. Press firmly when attaching.
Attaching the Flip-it!
Center the base attachment section on the side or back of your flash with your left hand and hold it in place. This illustration shows mounting on the side. While holding firmly with your left hand, pull the strap hard and wrap it around. Stick the Velcro down.
Direct flash or ceiling bounce :
The reflector flips back for direct flash or ceiling bounce.
Mounting the Flip-it! on either side of the flash
The Flip-it! may be mounted on either the short side or long side of your flash.
Changing the Angle of the Reflector Panel:
When changing the angle, put your thumb on the mounting plate rather than the reflector panel.

Understanding How the Reflector Panel Works:
The lighting from the rear panel changes as you use different angles. Slightly back of vertical gives the softest light and least shadows. 45° forward gives maximum bounce power when you need it. In-between positions let you fine tune the light as you need.
General Procedure Suggestion
In all photography situations, both indoors and outside, start with the least powerful setting (reflector all the way back). Add power with the reflector only as needed.
